Let me reintroduce myself…

Hi,I’m Abi Salami

I am a self-taught, Nigerian-American visual artist based in Dallas, TX who creates works that explore my experiences as an immigrant within the United States and as a traveling citizen of the world.

A fun fact about me is that, less than six years ago, I had a completely different life.

I was a Investor Relations Director and licensed CPA until I decided to chase my passion to become an artist.

Since then, my art has taken me across the world, from exhibiting in Berlin, to completing artist residences in NY, Morocco, and Bali.
